Charles Hedman currently serves as corporate counsel for Brotherhood Mutual in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Prior to his time at Brotherhood, Charles served as a pastor and elder at the Capitol Hill Baptist Church in Washington, D.C. while also serving as a religion instructor at the Capitol Hill Learning Group. Before pastoring, Charles served several years as a ministry leader for Campus Crusade for Christ (Cru) in Indianapolis, Indiana. Prior to ministry, Charles worked as a corporate litigator at Bose, McKinney & Evan’s, LLP in Indianapolis, Indiana, concentrating in construction and complex litigation.

Charles earned his bachelor’s degree in political science from the University of Notre Dame and his Juris Doctor from Notre Dame Law School. Charles also has a Masters in Teaching from the University of Southern California with an emphasis in inner city education and a Master of Divinity degree from the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary.

Charles is married to his wife of 17 years, Jamie, and has two children.
